Relief and Recuperation in the New Year

2017 has taken a toll on all of us. Not just emotionally, but physically too. Count on us to be at the ready to help you heal in 2018. Just find a comfortable recliner and kick back.

2017 was the year of sore feet and stress eating. Even with those new orthotics, which endeavored to make your tootsies battle-ready, protest marches made your feet feel like “bad hombres,” especially if you suffer from plantar fasciitis. Furthering 2017’s pain, acid reflux was ever-present and brilliantly executing sneak attacks every single time you tuned into the radio. Also, was it fake news or is it true that all of those proton pump inhibitors, like Zantac, might increase your risk of stomach cancer? Pass the Flamin’ Hot Cheetos!

After an exhausting week when you need to relax, repair, and ready yourself for another day, let Eagle Rock Community Acupuncture be your place of refuge. We have been stockpiling herbal remedies, stainless steel (disposable) needles, fluffy blankets, new-age music (sans vocals) as well as an amazing array of recliners since 2009. We are always here to share the trade secrets for better health.

Your body has a field manual and it is not the #fakenews that Merck or Pfizer uses as the blueprint for the for-profit corporate medical system (and congrats to them on the big tax break).

Fortunately, the Chinese mapped out the human body about 4,000 years ago. Oohrah! Acupuncture was born! It bolsters the body’s resistance to disease by encouraging the flow of energy: supplementing where there is emptiness and reducing where there is excess.

Acupuncturists worldwide are utilizing safe, effective, and natural strategies so you can feel balanced and soldier through another year. I still get enthusiastic when a newcomer signs up and experiences the R&R: relief and recuperation from our sessions.

Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine are a formidable line of defense. Years down the road we will regard all of the tactics of over-medication and elective surgeries as erroneous as preventative strikes.

Let’s welcome in 2018 refreshed, healthy and strong!
